A Wookies Life
When Does Life Really Start?

I believe life really starts when we stop waiting for it to. When people stop planning and over analyzing. When instead of worrying about tomorrow you sit back and enjoy today. I think people are too busy going through every day motions to relax and see how far they’ve really come. I think everything worth happening happens when you least expect it. For example:

-you realize your little sister isn’t a baby anymore when she asks you for the first time about boys and you two go from just sisters to also best friends.

-you find out you are having a child at a time that seems like the worst possible moment but that baby ends up being your entire world.

-a baby’s first word, usually happens in the only 10 minutes of the first year you weren’t holding a video camera.

-you meet the love of your life, normally at the most unromantic time such as when you’re cursing at the vending machine for eating your dollar, you are late for work and they catch the elevator door for you, or you are looking for the right classroom you were supposed to be in 15 minutes before.

I don’t believe it is possible for an individual to plan when their life actually starts. Life throws the most annoying curve balls with the most beautiful outcomes. I believe your life actually starts when you realize that every unpredicted moment happened at the exact right time.
