Goldy
Goldy is a squirmy little fish and he is always on the go
But today when I tapped on his glass he didn’t even move
He didn’t swim, he didnt hide, he wasn’t even afloat
I went to tell mom and dad the thing that I had found
Since I ran through the house screaming
My sisters and brother heard and started to gather around
My dad picked me up and said
It was time that Goldy was flushed
When I asked why my sister replied, “hes dead”
I wrapped my arms around daddy’s kneck and that’s when I started to cry
I never thought that on my birthday was the day Goldy would die
